Labour/ Employee Rights according to Islam

 Islam upholds the dignity and rights of workers, ensuring they are treated with fairness, respect, and compassion. The teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ emphasize just treatment of employees and the importance of fulfilling their rights without delay or exploitation. 1. Right to Fair Wages Workers are entitled to timely and agreed-upon compensation. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Give the worker his wages before his sweat dries." (Ibn Majah) 2. Right to Just Treatment Employers must treat employees with kindness, dignity, and fairness—avoiding harshness, abuse, or unjust demands. 3. Right to Safe and Reasonable Working Conditions Islam encourages safe, humane, and manageable work environments.
